Brett Talley
Co-Host, The Prosecutors Podcast

Brett Talley is a federal prosecutor and the appellate chief for the Middle District of Alabama as well as the co-host of the true crime podcasts “The Prosecutors” and "The Prosecutors: Legal Briefs." Prior to becoming a prosecutor, Brett served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the United States Department of Justice where he led the confirmation teams for two Supreme Court justices. Talley has served as an advisor to the White House Counsel, the Deputy Solicitor General of Alabama, a speechwriter for a United States Senator, a political and legal communications professional on a major presidential campaign, a U.S. District and 11th Circuit judicial law clerk, an adjunct law school professor, and an award-winning horror fiction author.

A native Alabamian, Talley earned his undergraduate degree in History and Philosophy from the University of Alabama and J.D. from Harvard Law School. He lives in Montgomery with his wife Annie, their three small kids, and precocious hound dog
